What is Motor Reliability Testing?

Motor reliability testing is essential for the safe and continuous operation of eco-friendly automotive applications using drive motors. It measures motor efficiency, durability, noise, and vibration under various environmental conditions such as temperature changes, shock, vibration, and corrosion to ensure product quality.

Test Items

  • Durability Testing

    • Purpose : Evaluates whether the drive system (motor, inverter, reducer) operates stably under prolonged use conditions
    • Test Items : High-temperature operation durability, Low-temperature operation durability, Temperature cycle durability, Temperature/humidity cycle durability, High-temperature/humidity durability, Torque ripple, Shaft voltage, Efficiency
  • Environmental Testing

    • Purpose : Evaluates whether the drive motor operates stably after exposure to extreme mechanical and environmental conditions
    • Test Items : Vibration, Shock, Temperature/humidity cycling, Combined corrosion, Water/dust ingress
