Special Act on safety management of children’s product(KC)
FITI Testing & Research Institute, designated as children product safety certification agency, is the institution responsible for certifying items related to the safety of children goods and performing safety certification and safety confirmation. In addition, we’re providing services on items of supplier’s declaration of conformity.
KC relating to children products is under the supervision of Korean Agency for Technology and Standards, and classified into three categories; safety certification, safety confirmation, and supplier’s declaration of conformity. Link below is site regarding a product safety management system.
| Safety Certification | The goods under this category are the products regarded as those with high risk in inflicting harmfulness to the lives and bodies of children. Therefore, these are subject to be tested by designated agency for either sampling checks as well as product tests or just sampling checks in order to secure the safety. |

| Safety Confirmation | The goods under this category are the products with potential harmfulness to the bodies of children and these can inflict damages by their structure, substance and/or usage while the damages can be prevented by sampling tests. This confirmation is completed with sampling tests conducted by designated agency. |
| Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity | The goods under this category are items excluded from Safety Certification, Safety Confirmation. |
