Construction Quality Testing and Inspection

What is Construction Quality Testing and Inspection?

Construction quality testing and inspection is a quality management system implemented to ensure the safety and quality of construction projects, improve construction standards, and prevent potential defects before they occur. This system involves performing quality tests and inspections on various construction materials used at construction sites, verifying their suitability, durability, and compliance with relevant standards.

  • Relevant Laws
Construction Technology Promotion Act, Article 60:
All construction quality testing and inspection activities are regulated under this law, which mandates the establishment of a quality management system for construction projects.
  • After July 10, 2024:
All quality testing and inspection services must be requested, conducted, and issued exclusively through the [CSI Construction Project Safety Management Integrated Information System], ensuring centralized management and traceability.
