China GB Testing
What is the China GB Testing?
GB is an abbreviation of "GUO JIA BIAO ZHUN," the Chinese pinyin for National Standards. Apparel, decorative, and household textile products manufactured or sold in China must comply with the requirements of GB 18401 - National Textile Products Basic Safety Technical Code.
*Since 2008, we have been the first domestic testing and certification organization to collaborate with Chinese national institutions, providing testing and consulting services for exports to China.

Target Items : Clothing and other textile products, leather and fur, bags, and other miscellaneous goods produced and sold in China.
1) GB 18401-2010 – National Textile Products Basic Safety Technical Specification
- Scope : Applies to clothing, decorative, and household textile products manufactured and sold in China.
- Exclusions : Medical supplies, disposable hygiene products, bags, shoes, umbrellas, carpets, etc.

2) GB 31701-2015 Safety Technology Standards for Infant and Children’s Clothing Products
- Scope : Textile products worn and used by infants and children aged 0 to 14 sold in China.
- Applicable to : Fabrics, fillings, accessories, cords, and drawstrings.
*The outer fabric, lining, and accessories used in infant and children’s clothing products must comply with GB 18401, as well as the following requirements.
