Successful First Participation of FITI Testing & Research Institute at IFAI EXPO 2015, World’s Biggest Trade Show Event for Advanced Textiles.

On October 2015, FITI Testing & Research Institute became the first domestic lab participating as an exhibitor and a sponsor at IFAI EXPO, world’s biggest trade show event for advanced textiles.

Established in 1912, Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) annually hosts IFAI EXPO which is one of the world’s largest exhibitions with the specialists in various industries such as industrial textile materials and advanced textiles. IFAI EXPO not only acted as a fair for manufacturers from all around the world, but it also held various seminars, international conference, and educational sessions in testing methods for industrial/functional fabrics.

IFAI EXPO 2015 took place at Anaheim Convention Center in California for three days from October 7, 2015 to October 9, 2015. A total of 375 exhibitors participated for this exhibition and the event had more than 6,000 attendees/buyers from various parts of the world.

As a testing certification institute, FITI Testing & Research Institute installed an on-site booth to provide consultation to both attendees and exhibitors from Europe, Asia, and Americas about quality control/assurance and certification of manufactured goods through testing/inspection.

During IFAI Expo 2015, FITI Testing & Research Institute received many positive responses from the crowd by demonstrating Moisture Management Test and Spray Test, two of the most common functionality testing for fabric/textile. Moreover, some of the global apparel brands such as Nike and DuPont brought their own self-developing fabrics to test on the spot and spent time with one of FITI’s lab experts listening to explanation/consultation on principle and corresponding results on specific testing methods. FITI Testing & Research Institute also took on a role as “Professional Testing and Educational Institute” by distributing functionality testing handbooks to provide better understanding of the testing to booth visitors and exhibitors.

On the second day of the Expo, FITI Testing & Research Institute independently sponsored cocktail event called “Young Professional’s Happy Hour” in which more than 100 representatives in the industry were able to have a networking session. FITI Testing & Research Institute will consistently participate at those major exhibitions like IFAI EXPO to make better approach to our clients as globally recognized testing and analysis institute.
