Sweden Prohibits Bisphenol-A in Baby Food Packaging
Recently Sweden went further to decide to ban the use of BPA in the varnish and coating in food packaging specifically designed for children under the age of three. This regulation shall come into force on January 1, 2013.

European Committee Adopts 4 restriction proposals
Recently, the REACH committee has adopted 4 restriction proposals on cadmium in plastic products, lead in jewelry, mercury in measure devices, and phenylmercury compounds in order to include them on the restriction list of annex XVII of 1907/2006/EC (REACH).
